Lincoln News; 13th Edition
Hello from Lincoln,
Thank you to the parents who attended the MCAS presentation before the PTO meeting on Monday evening. For those who could not attend and are interested in the presentation, you can find it here: http://lincoln.melroseschools.com/2017/11/2017-mcas-presentation/#sthash.vcFNSiUj.dpbs.
We will kick off our annual Giving Tree campaign on Wednesday, 11/29. The Giving Tree is a longstanding tradition at the Lincoln School to help families in need during the holiday season. The Giving Tree will be located in the atrium. Attached to the tree will be tags with requested items to buy for children and families. Take a tag, and return it to school with your unwrapped gift. All gifts should be returned to the office by Tuesday, December 19. Thank you for your generosity!
It’s hard to believe when we return from the Thanksgiving break, it will be time for the Rudolph Shop. The Rudolph Shop will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017. For families new to the Lincoln, this event gives the children an opportunity to purchase holiday gifts for their families and friends. Parents are able to come in during their child’s shopping time if they wish. See attached to volunteer and view the schedule. We will need PLENTY of gift wrappers and helpers. If you would like to volunteer, you can use the online link here: http://signup.com/go/vAQXmzF . Any questions, contact Melissa Rinaldi at 857 334-2619 (text or call) or via email at [email protected]
